Soil and plant nutrition laboratory

The laboratory focuses on the study of chemical and physical factors of soils that affect the absorption of nutrients and pollutants by plants. Applies soil chemistry techniques using high-end equipment to determine the concentration of elements available in the soil.

Agricultural Experimental Farm (GEA)

The laboratory contributes to the investigation of crops of importance in the country for the study of diseases, water and edaphoclimatic requirements through the implementation of demonstrative and experimental plots.

Biomedical research laboratory

The laboratory specializes in the development of innovative solutions for the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and understanding of diseases of public health importance. Additionally, we are looking for new biomolecules, nutraceuticals with pharmacological action in vitro and in vivo.

Biotransformation Laboratory

Molecular Nutrition Laboratory  

It is dedicated to the investigation of the composition of the microorganisms that make up the human intestinal microbiota and the dynamic interactions between its components and the different tissues; and thus build predictive models for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of these diseases.
